Dr Ziaur Rahman- Assistant Professor (HOD since 15th Sept 2023 to 14th Sept 2025)
Joined in this university 17th January 2017 as Assistant Professor. A Ph.D degree holder from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, he has earlier served as Librarian, Ananda Chandra College, Jalpaiguri, West Bengal; as Assistant Professor in the DLIS, Assam University, Silchar; and as Lecturer (contractual) in DLIS, North-Bengal University, Raja Rammohunpur, West Bengal.
Smt. Snigdha Naskar - Assistant Professor
Joined in this university 7th February 2017 as an Assistant Professor. An M.Lib.I.Sc degree holder from the University of Calcutta, Smt. Naskar was earlier working in the same position in Vidyasagar University, Medinipur. She has also served in the Asiatic Society for a brief period.
